Surf report terms, conditions & privacy

PJ’s Surf Shop · Llangennith, Gower
Last updated: 7 October 2026

1. About this page

This surf report is provided by PJ’s Surf Shop at pjsurfshop.com to help you plan a visit to Llangennith. These terms apply to the surf report and its forecast, webcam, wave buoy and tide features. Product purchases and equipment hire are subject to their own applicable terms; this page does not replace them.

2. Using the report

Use the information as a guide alongside your own assessment of conditions, ability and equipment. Weather and the sea can change quickly. Check conditions at the beach and follow local safety advice. The report is not a guarantee of safe conditions, a navigation service or an emergency warning service. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.

3. Forecasts, buoy observations and webcam

PJ’s daily surf outlook is a manually prepared, dated summary intended to help you plan a session. We aim to update it daily when available, but updates are not automatic, continuous or guaranteed at a particular time. It covers four explicitly dated days. Check the preparation time and each forecast date before using it. It can become out of date as conditions change; it is not a real-time beach observation.

Any figures or forecasts included in the summary must come from sources PJ’s is permitted to reuse, with the relevant source identified. The current outlook identifies the forecast and observation sources used when it was prepared; forecast windows and observation times may differ. Windguru and Surfline provide separate third-party forecasts, and the current surf, wind, swell and air-temperature cards summarise the dated Surfline Llangennith forecast. Cefas WaveNet provides the Scarweather and South Pembrokeshire buoy observations and graphs. A beach webcam is planned but is not currently embedded. These services are operated by their respective providers, and their own terms apply to their content. PJ’s does not control their data collection, forecasts, camera availability or update schedules.

Buoy readings describe conditions at the offshore buoy locations, not breaking wave height or conditions at Llangennith beach. Check the date, time, units and availability shown by each provider. Cefas times are shown in UTC; the tide planner uses UK local time (GMT/BST). Readings and camera images may be delayed, interrupted or unavailable, even when labelled live.

4. Tides and tidal variations

The tide planner uses the supplied Swansea high and low tide tables for 2026 and 2027. It is a Swansea reference rather than a measured Llangennith tide curve. The high and low markers use the table predictions; the curve between them is approximate. Heights are in metres above chart datum.

The listed tidal variations are approximate time adjustments only. They do not adjust tide heights. Wind, pressure and other conditions can affect actual water levels. Do not use this graph or the variations for navigation, passage planning or decisions requiring precise local tide information. Consult an appropriate official local source.

5. Updates, availability and accuracy

The daily outlook stays as a dated snapshot until PJ’s manually replaces it. Returning to or refreshing this page does not create a new outlook. Separate embedded forecasts and buoy displays follow their providers’ update schedules; their times may differ from the manual summary. If the outlook has not been updated today, use the latest provider information and assess conditions at the beach. We aim to keep this page useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every reading, forecast or image is accurate, complete or current. Technical faults, data gaps and provider changes may affect what is displayed. Check the source information and do not rely on this report alone for decisions about entering the water.

6. Content, credits and appropriate use

PJ’s own page content belongs to PJ’s or is used under an applicable licence. Third-party data, images, logos and embedded services remain subject to their owners’ rights and licences. Keep provider credits intact and obtain any permissions required before reusing their content. Do not use this page unlawfully, interfere with its operation or misuse another person’s rights.

7. Privacy, cookies and external links

This page includes third-party forecasts, buoy displays and a planned webcam. When active embedded features load, their providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Review the providers’ own privacy notices and cookie choices. Links that open external websites take you to services operated independently of PJ’s.
