Information we use
We use the details you give us when you order, contact us or subscribe: your name, contact and delivery details, order history and messages. Our website also receives technical information such as your IP address, browser and pages visited. Payment information is handled by the payment provider you choose.
Why we use it
We use your information to fulfil orders and returns (our contract with you), keep tax and accounting records (legal obligations), and answer enquiries, prevent fraud and run the shop (legitimate interests). We use consent for optional tracking and marketing where required. Relevant customer reminders are sent only where permitted; you can opt out.
Who receives it
We share information needed to provide our services with Squarespace, payment providers such as PayPal or Klarna when chosen, delivery companies such as Royal Mail or Parcelforce, and advisers or authorities where needed. Some providers process information outside the UK; their privacy notices explain their locations and safeguards. See Squarespace’s privacy notice. Embedded services, including Instagram, have their own privacy and cookie notices.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for orders, customer support, accounting, legal duties and resolving disputes. Retention depends on the record and applicable legal requirements. Marketing preferences are kept while relevant; we may retain a minimal opt-out record so we respect your choice.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing using the email link or contact us. Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful use. Email us to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Cookies and similar storage
Essential cookies help the basket, checkout and security work. Optional analytics cookies help us understand visits. Use the cookie banner to accept or reject optional cookies and manage preferences. Your browser can also clear cookies and local storage; blocking essential cookies may affect shopping.
Gift picks may use local storage to avoid showing the same choices on your next visit. Third-party content and payment providers may use their own cookies. This notice will be updated when our practices change.
